CFLs are Built to Last… A Few Months

Something I realized the first time I bought these expensive heavily publicized CFLs or what I call the White Bulbs–they don’t reach the lifetime no. of hours as stated on the box. Meaning you are actually paying more money for less light output hours.

Some Compact Fluorescent Bulbs Don’t Meet Long-Life Claims

Supposed to be these CFLs should last longer than the power-hogging incandescent bulbs while consuming less electricity. Now I do not know what to believe anymore.
